Five years ago, we created KarmaCheck with a simple mission — to establish more trust in the internet age. Background checks and credentialing, both essential yet highly inefficient processes, seemed like an obvious place to start.
We knew there was a better way to get people hired faster without sacrificing compliance and security. We’ve now made our dream a reality!
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has made our growth and success possible, starting with our wonderful customers. Without you, we wouldn’t be here today. Our goal has always been to make the hiring process easier for you, your clients, and your candidates.
Over the last five years, we have completed millions of screenings. That translates to checks for more than 144,000 candidates. It’s positively thrilling to see so many people identify with our mission! Thank you all for trusting us as your screening and credentialing partner.
Of course, none of this would be possible without our fantastic team members. I fondly remember KarmaCheck’s early days when our small, scrappy team would take it upon themselves to build the functionality needed to win our first customers in record time. In the time since, we’ve developed a dynamic culture built on trust that I haven’t found anywhere else, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. To go from a handful of people in 2019 to more than 150 today is incredible, and each and every one of you are vital to our success. The past five years would not have been possible without you. Thank you, KarmaCheck “Krew,” for being an integral part of our story.
But our work is far from over. We’re not comfortable with the status quo. We’ll continue working toward our mission of revolutionizing screenings and establishing a trust layer on the internet.
