Passthrough fees
What are passthrough fees?
Passthrough fees are typically data access and third party fees charged to obtain the underlying information required to complete your screening. These fees may come from state and county courts, DMVs, criminal databases, employment and education verifications, and similar sources. These fees are not set by KarmaCheck.
Does KarmaCheck include passthrough fees on invoices?
Yes, every invoice identifies passthrough fees on a dedicated line item separate from any KarmaCheck fees.
Does KarmaCheck pass on credit card transaction fees?
Yes, we pass on transaction fees charged by credit card processing companies. These fees are listed on invoices after KarmaCheck is billed by processing companies. To avoid payment fees, you may pay by ACH or check.
Are passthrough fees subject to change?
Yes, passthrough fees may change without notice.
